  • What book(s) are you currently reading?

    On audio:

Cry to Heaven by Anne Rice.

Enjoy her writing. Listening to this on my way to/from work.

    Soft cover:

Foundation Game Design with Flash by Rex van der Spuy.

Probably the best technical book I've ever read. Approx. 70 pages left to go, and I'll grab the next (advanced) one from my shelf.

Original name: The Woods, but I was feeling lazy and picked Finnish translation of the book.  8)

Sankta Psyko, translated to English with name The Asylum.

I'm about a third of the way through so far, thoroughly entertaining and engaging, would recommend.

Currently reading IT-vocabulary book. English terms translated & explained in Finnish.... Some parts are a bit outdated, because this was published in 2011, but I got it cheap and thought it wouldn't harm to read some...

I would also recommend Zusak's I Am the Messenger as well. A personal favorite.

Currently reading Michael Circhton's Jurassic Park. Seen the movie, of course, but a friend recommended it to me.

S.K. Tremayne - The Ice Twins

This captured my attention in bookstore, and after quite long time of not getting any book finished, I couldn't let this off my hands before reading from start to end. ...and ofc I did this a little before I was supposed to sleep, so I read til it was early morning and even then some bits of the story haunted me for a while before I was able to catch the sleep.

While searching picture for this post, I noticed that this is supposedly some sort of trendy book of new thrillers (or something like that ), but I liked twisted plot. Recommend for entertaining reading.

Hey man would you mind elaborating on this? People are calling it "the next Gone Girl" and I didn't love Gone Girl. Critics did, but in the literary community it was generally panned. I'd be interested to read a review from a reader rather than a critic, maybe in the same way that audience reviews for The Last Jedi were more telling than critic reviews.
