You might keep keepsakes in an old shoebox, but the shoes are long gone.

Your bones might outlive your coffin.

Two examples that neither prove nor disprove my point.

Think of it this way, though.

You wear out great pair of shoes, you wear out the soles and the box lives on, containing bits and pieces of a life well spent.

You might be important and have a led lined coffin where your bones might be contained for a long while.

My point is this!; - :

Better to have your bones boiled up by cannibals in a nice soulful broth, than be a box full of bones for eternity.

Paintings that cost a bomb bought by people with too much money to spare
and that don’t look at all like they’re what they’ve meant to look ….an example of which was a painting I thought looked like a piano on a stage with a bit of trees in the back ground and a whole swish of pinks I thought was the stage curtains .

Turned out to be it was a painting of a hamburger !!!

And for that amount of money that was paid for a painting of a hamburger was totally absurd !
