Uh oh ! Sorry d4ve ! That should be up to you seeing that the thread was started by you .
I'll leave it to you then . Apologies! I'm new to how things work here
I'll retract my post and change it and you can decide.

No worries Kim. Let's just say we can post repeats only if it has been awhile. So if dew drop was used 2 pages ago, that's ok and that person should post "... a dew drop ... (repeat) "

I guess Kimi posted something pretty foolish if she needed to hide her words afterwards! Sad...

                  A dewdrop is a flower.

A dew drops from the atmosphere onto the earth, usually at night, silently.

                  Not a repeat.

Pick E, I searched for your definition of the word dewdrop as a flower but it was nowhere to be found .There were photos of dew on flowers but not the Dewdrop flower itself.

Hence the word dewdrop ( from the atmosphere ) was a repeat word.
Could you have confused it with the Snowdrop flower ?

                    Maybe d4ve_tv can confirm ?

I cancelled my post not because I wanted to hide it but because I didn't want to override d4tv, as I felt that the decision of the repeat word should be rightly his .
Now, I realise it was not necessary for me to retract the post and that it had not been helpful as you were curious to know exactly what it was .
                    My bad . Sad .

                      @PickE and d4ve_tv ,
Oh! oh! I found those pretty, purple dewdrop flowers !
The plant is known as "Durenta erecta " It's also known as the golden dewdrop !
The fruits are golden-yellow and " hang from stems like earrings or drops of golden dew" ! Nice !

So, yes, you are correct Pick E, and this time I have to apologise to you.
The word dewdrop is not a repeat .
:palm: My bad... So sad... Sorry ...sorry....
                      sorry ...sorry...sorry........

In fact, I recall now, seeing this plant in my grandparent;s garden, umpteen years ago .

                      A botanist I'll never be ....
