One of my accounts did that once, like it was stuck in Facebook game room or something, it really messed up the zoom that I preferred to use while playing 8 ball pool. After a few months or so it went back to the usual look, don't know how or why it happened, I hated it with a passion.

Yeah, that's the old style and what I see on my other account.... i sure don't like this new change...

here's the adblock codes if you want to block all the CRAP:

      apps.facebook.com##.x6s0dn4.x78zum5.x1q0g3np.xsdox 4t.x1qughib.xvijh9v.x1ty9z65.xh8yej3

      apps.facebook.com###bluebarRoot
      apps.facebook.com##._2t-8._1s4v._2s1x._h2p
once you add those codes to adblock the only thing that will load is the game & mine loads in about 9 seconds.
thanks, this will be useful......i'm going to set up a Linux box with Pi-Hole and connect it to my router....that way I don't have to configure ad blocking on every device I have....

Ryan Cawdor First I assumed all my accounts was going to adopt the new look but none ever changed, It was last year sometime. I hope they aren't wanted to make it permanent. I used to play on Facebook all the time, I've played on both mini-clip and Facebook, maybe its just me but I find that Facebook 8 ball pool is way smoother to me.

i use FB now because it's smoother I dont socialize on there though, but also if I log in through the MC site after about 15/20 minutes it logs me out & i have to log in again what a pain!

That used to happen to me too while playing on Mini-clips so called better and improved website, it would logout in matches sometimes or after 20 minutes or so. What I started doing that totally fixed a lot of issues was to Never close the User Management Portal while playing, if I'm unlucky enough to be losing and not increasing coins after a few hours and still playing, in fear of losing connection, I'll switch over to the User Management Portal and logout and back in so if something happens in game I can refresh and I'm still logged in. It's crazy you can't stay logged in very long if you close the User Management Portal. I made a video of how I use the website now if anybody is interested. I would like to add same applies if I'm using my Facebook account on mini-clips website and that I've not suffered any kind of issues with winnings not working right or leader-board suspension since I started using the website this way. I always logout through the game first as shown in the video. I had some really good luck in that video, fluked in the 9 ball 3 times at 10m I believe, denied someone in Berlin which was CRAZY.

No problem Mary. Theres lots of videos on youtube with links to downloads for new wallpapers. You can also add a video from youtube as a wallpaper on it. Have you tried the "Fluids" one while moving the mouse around the screen?

Not yet, I'm still tinkering with it. I was only able to install it through windows Microsoft store, kinda the same way the NVIDIA control panel is installed.

yeah nice kind of reminds me a lot of the old XP software called STARDOCK
i just looked it up & the company is still going! apparently they now specialize in making windows 10 & windows 11 look like windows 7 or even XP ha!

wiccatree, good to know that they never gave up, lots to this day still use Windows XP, it used to be my FAV until I went to Windows 8.1, probably the most hated OS ever but after adjusting some things it is great, way less telemetry and spying that Windows 10 and 11 have and it always seemed faster to me, sadly Windows 8.1 is now no longer supported. COOLOCKER, yeah I did see a few places that offered the program but I couldn't risk it,so I went with Microsoft store, I'll look for some videos and tutorials on how to add more themes and wallpapers.

The number 1 & 2 reasons I run either 'nix or BSD variants, faster/less resource intensive, and not feeling like someone is looking over my shoulder or artificially limiting my choices.

Hello bogus6948, I recently tried tiny11, its a trimmed down version of Windows 11, it was fast, I would never use it as a daily driver because you never know if the ISO was tampered with, all my tests came up clean but you never know. Lots of Linux distros are really fast, and sooo many to choose from.

True that, there are lots to choose from, but Linux/Unix distros are not as different as they may seem. The main differences from a user perspective (aside from package management) are the DM (desktop manager or user interface), and even there the differences are less than you might suspect. After all, there are only so many ways to display a file tree, or dock / taskbar, or program menu, etc.
