  • Hacked Account Reported to Miniclip

    My account was hacked and the hacker was able to change my name and Facebook account linked to my Miniclip account and control my account.I reported this several times to Miniclip and showed proof but they never took any actions.So the only way I can get into my account to play is to log directly into Miniclip manually and when hacker gets on I am automatically booted out!I am posting here in hopes it will get to someone in Miniclip that is willing to help me!

    I don't understand how this can happen, the only way I can think of is that maybe you bought this account off a seller which are dodgy in the first place...normally hackers to boost accounts and sell on then reclaim the account after you have spent your hard earned cash on it. Otherwise I'm clueless how they would be able hack into your account. Good luck.

        Hi Unicycle Jay, I'm not a technical person so I don't know how it happened.That being said,I showed proof to Miniclip that's it's my account at one time as I have my prepaid card linked to it and screenshots with my name and player ID since they did nothing and I do not have full control of the account.I no longer load my card or buy any packages online.So basically, my player ID that use to be in my name and linked to my Facebook account now has another name but I can access it with my email address and log straight into Miniclip.Then when I log into Miniclip from Facebook another new account appears.I am able to log into my hacked account logging in straight with Miniclip only but as mentioned when the hacker gets online I get booted out!I am hoping Miniclip people can do something about this!

          Hi CiderCoder,no I have not given my login details to anyone but I did lose 3-cellpones within a span of 2-months and my Miniclip account is there in my phone as I love to play 8-ball.Lets say somehow someone was able to get into my account and change the info.That being said, I have purchase records with Miniclip plus one of my purchases was not credited but the money was deducted from my prepaid card so I filed a complaint.There is data and screenshots to prove it was my account.Cant I just request Miniclip to see if there is a way to remove the hackers linked Facebook account with my Miniclip account and change it back to how it originally is?

            If you can log in to the account from the Miniclip logon screen, can you not then change the password ? Or does it not work like that anymore ?

            Miniclip are notoriously bad at doing anything that gets in there way of making money.

              Who exactly did you contact at Miniclip ex. email address ??

              Did you send email concern to Zendesk ?

                Hey Kodii, I contacted Miniclip through the customer service as I mentioned in one of my post. I used to buy cues and packages but since my account was hacked I stopped as the hacker logs into my account and empties my coins.How do I know, I can see them playing for a split second when I log in and then I am cut.Also when I am playing and the hacker get on.I am automatically logged out and it says I am logged into another device!I appreciate the info, I will email them.I was hoping I can post screenshots of my emails conversations here but the app does not allow me

                  If I was in your situation I'd keep logging in and out of my account because this will disturb the account thief and will be so annoying they might stop. Welcome to the Miniclip Fan Forum steve8566!!! Good luck, I hope you are able to solve your problem.

                      Steve. Not trying to put a downer on this or anything but - about 6 years (I think) ago, I shared (I know, naughty) an account with my son. We used to sit there taking turns playing tournaments on this account. We put in about 1 1/2 years on this account until one day, I logged in and noticed that most of the coins had gone and there were all sorts of cues that had been bought (this is back when you could buy cues like the black hole one with coins, not cash). It wasn't me, my son swore that it wasn't him. Anyway, after about a week, we could no longer log in - it said the password was wrong. My guess is that whomever managed to access the account had changed the password and we could no longer access it. We sent moneyclip messages and got nowhere. Back then, you could make a new account easily enough so my lad just made a new one, I had my original account, so I just went back to that.

                      I always suspected that my lad told a friend what the login was, but he was adamant that he hadn't?

                      Essentially what I'm saying is - if you have another account, I think your best bet is to just play that, I don't think you'll get anywhere with moneyclip helping you out - that just doesn't seem to happen. There are quite a few of us on here that have all sorts of funny things happen with accounts, I don't think any of us have ever really achieved anything by contacting moneyclip.

                        Thanks for all those who are trying to help,I appreciate your efforts... My problem is that my account is already well played by me and I have over 600+ rings and I've accumulated many cues and most are already at all at maximum strength so starting a new account is not a good option for me.Also I still have almost 2-billions coins and 900+ cash at the moment... The only thing that annoys me is that Miniclip says they cannot do anything!I have screenshot their email reply to me as I sent them a email outlining my problems and showing them proof that it was my account at one time!I will post a link below, any suggestions how to regain my account is appreciated! Thanking all in advance!

                            Ok may this will work,if you look at my screenshots take note of the unique ID... The unique ID belonged to me from the first day I started the account and after a hacker took control.They were able to change the player ID to theirs.So basically,they own my account.I cannot change any information as the hacker blocked me from accessing those features.So I contacted Miniclip and showed them proof it's my account.I have posted a screenshot of Miniclips reply!I can still play logging into my account manually through Miniclip login only as when I log in with my Facebook another account appears!

                              Dam, it looks like your account is gone for sure if thats the way moneyclip are treating it. As per Cidercoders question above, can you change the password etc when you log on? If there is a way to send a password reset before logging in, try it, see what happens. I had a look at the account number to see which profile would pop up, but when i entered the number, this is all i could see:

                                Hi Coolocker,I've tried to change password but the program does not allow me as I cannot authenticate but I am able to log into my account and play but I need to log in with Miniclip link and I have to manually enter my password everytime.Believe me,I've tried to get my account back.I'd like to thank all those in the forum for their help...Seems I am on my own as Miniclip already closed the door!

                                    Just wondering if the failure to authenticate is coming from this log in page Steve? Arte you getting an email from them at all to authenticate?

                                      Hi Coolocker, yes that's where the problem is as when I automatically log on with Facebook it directs me to a different account so I can no longer log in with facebook and I have to manually enter my email and password with Miniclip link to get access to my hacked account.I gather the hacker was able to change my account info from facebook as I can log in directly but then again the hacker has control of my account as when we are both logged in, it's me that is booted out!

                                        Have you tried changing your FB password? As in log into FB, change PW, log back out, Then go to miniclip and log in w/ FB using the new password.
